Cajun Butter Steak Bites

Steak bites made with Mae's Seasonings Cajun Blackened and garlic butter. This is great as an appetizer or pair with garlic bread and caesar salad for a full meal.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 lbs steak, cut into 2 inch cubes                 (sirloin or ribeye) 
  • 2 tbsp Mae’s Seasonings Cajun Blackened 
  • 1 - 2 tbsp olive oil 
  • 3 tbsp butter 
  • 5 garlic cloves, minced 

Instructions
 

  • In a large shallow bowl, combine steak bites with Cajun Blackened. Heat 1 tbsp of oil in cast iron skillet over medium - high until hot.
  • Sear the steak bites in batches for 2 - 3 minutes per side (don’t flip until they cook for 2 minutes) until edges are browned and crispy, adding some more oil if needed. Set aside.
  • Reduce heat to medium - low and add butter and heat until melted. Cook the minced garlic about 1  minute.
  • Turn off the heat and add steak bites back to the pan and stir well to combine with the garlic butter.
  • Let rest for 5 -10 minutes before serving.
