Chicken Fajitas

Fajitas made with Mae's Seasonings Chili Lime. The chicken is marinated for an extra flavour. Serve with a salad if you wish.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 tbsp Mae’s Seasonings Chili Lime
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 6 garlic cloves, minced
  • 4 chicken breasts, thinly sliced
  • Olive oil
  • 3 red or orange bell peppers, thinly sliced
  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 6 flour tortillas
  • Sour cream
  • Shredded cheddar cheese

Optional Toppings:

  • Mae's Seasonings Salsa Roja
  • Guacamole
  • Pickled jalapenos
  • Pickled banana peppers
  • Hot sauce

Instructions
 

  • In a medium bowl, mix together olive oil, lime juice, Chili Lime, salt, and garlic. Toss with chicken slices and let marinate in fridge for at least 3 hours.
  • In a large frypan over medium - high heat, cook peppers and onions until lightly browned. Remove and set aside.
  • In same pan, cook chicken until cooked, about 5 minutes. Stir back in peppers and onion.
  • Assemble: On a tortilla shell spread some sour cream and top with cheddar, cheese, chicken and pepper mixture.
  • Top with optional toppings and roll up,
