
Chicken Fajitas
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1 tbsp Mae’s Seasonings Chili Lime
- 1 tsp salt
- 6 garlic cloves, minced
- 4 chicken breasts, thinly sliced
- Olive oil
- 3 red or orange bell peppers, thinly sliced
- 1 red onion, thinly sliced
- 6 flour tortillas
- Sour cream
- Shredded cheddar cheese
Optional Toppings:
- Mae's Seasonings Salsa Roja
- Guacamole
- Pickled jalapenos
- Pickled banana peppers
- Hot sauce
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, mix together olive oil, lime juice, Chili Lime, salt, and garlic. Toss with chicken slices and let marinate in fridge for at least 3 hours.
- In a large frypan over medium - high heat, cook peppers and onions until lightly browned. Remove and set aside.
- In same pan, cook chicken until cooked, about 5 minutes. Stir back in peppers and onion.
- Assemble: On a tortilla shell spread some sour cream and top with cheddar, cheese, chicken and pepper mixture.
- Top with optional toppings and roll up,
