Chicken Noodle Soup

Soup made with Mae's Seasonings Poultry & Stuffing Seasoning. This can be made with either chicken or turkey. This is a great way to use up leftover turkey from the holidays. This also freezes very well.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 onions, diced
  • 4 - 6 celery ribs, chopped
  • 2 - 3 carrots, chopped
  • 6 - 8 garlic cloves, minced
  • Olive oil
  • 10 cups chicken broth
  • 2 tsp Mae’s Seasonings Poultry Seasoning
  • Egg noodles

Instructions
 

  • Season chicken with salt and pepper. In a large frypan on medium - high heat, sauté chicken until browned, about 3 - 5 minutes per side. Transfer to a plate and set aside.
  • In a large pot on medium - high heat, sauté onions, celery, and carrots in oil until lightly browned. Add in garlic and cook for 1 minute. Add in chicken broth, Poultry Seasoning and stir to combine. Add in chicken breasts and heat to boiling. Reduce heat to low and let simmer for 30 minutes.
  • Remove chicken and once cool enough to handle, shred and add back to soup.
  • Add some egg noodles and cook for 15 minutes or until tender.
