
Chili Lime Cod
Ingredients
- 2 cod fillets
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp Mae’s Seasonings Chili Lime
Lime Butter:
- 2 tbsp butter melted
- 1/2 tbsp lime juice
- 1/2 tsp Mae’s Seasonings Chili Lime
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 F. Clean cod and pat dry with paper towels. Brush the oil over the cod then rub in Chili Lime and let sit for 20 minutes.
- On medium - high heat, in a cast iron skillet heat up some oil. When hot, add the cod and sear about 2 - 4 minutes per side. Transfer to oven and cook for about 5 - 7 minutes, depending on the thickness of your fish. Serve the lime butter over your fish.
- Lime Butter: In a small bowl, combine melted butter, lime juice and Chili Lime.
- Let sit for 10 minutes before serving.
