Chili Lime Prawns

Prawns made with Mae's Seasonings Chili Lime. Serve with steak for a surf and turf night. Pair with roasted potatoes and veggies for a complete meal.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 bag 340 grams prawns
  • Juice from 1/2 lime
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp Mae’s Seasonings Chili Lime
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Lime wedges for serving (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Defrost Prawns: Place them in a bowl of cold salted water for about 20 minutes until thawed.
  • In a medium bowl, mix together lime juice, olive oil, honey, garlic, Chili Lime, and salt. Toss with prawns and let sit for 20 minutes.
  • In a large frypan over medium heat, cook prawns until pink, about 2 minutes per side.
  • Add in butter and stir until melted.
  • Serve with butter and lime wedges.
