Gluten Free Fried Chicken
Gluten Free Fried Chicken made with Mae's Seasonings Oma's Fried Chicken. You wouldn't even guess this is gluten free. Made with crushed cornflakes and gluten free flours.
Ingredients
- 6 - 8 chicken thighs
- 6 cups cornflakes, crushed (2 cups)
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup half and half cream
- 1/4 cup rice flour
- 1/4 cup sorghum flour
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 2 tbsp Mae’s Seasonings Oma’s Fried Chicken, divided
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Rinse and pat dry chicken pieces.
- In one bowl mix together crushed cornflakes and 1 tbsp Fried Chicken Seasoning. In a second bowl, mix together eggs, and cream. In a third bowl, mix together flours, cornstarch, 1 tbsp Fried Chicken Seasoning, and salt.
- Dredge chicken pieces in flour, then in egg mixture and last in cornflakes.
- Air fryer: Cook for 15 minutes; flip and continue cooking until done, about 10 minutes.
- Oven: Bake at 425 F for 35 - 40 minutes or until no longer pink and juices run clear.
- Let rest for 5 - 10 minutes before serving.
