Maple Baked Ham

Baked ham made with Mae's Seasonings Maple Garlic. This is great for Easter, Thanksgiving or Christmas Dinner. Great when paired with Au Gratin Potatoes.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter 
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar 
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup 
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard 
  • 2 tbsp Mae’s Seasonings Maple Garlic 
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon 
  • 1 smoked picnic ham, bone in (about 5 - 8 pounds) 
  • 1 cup pineapple juice 

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 325 F.
  • In a small saucepan on medium - low heat, stir together butter, brown sugar, maple syrup, mustard, Maple Garlic and cinnamon. Cook for a few minutes until heated.
  • Peel the rind from the ham and discard; leaving the fat on. Using a sharp knife, cut slits in a cross check pattern. Make sure to go deep enough that you also slice into the meat. Pour pineapple juice into roasting pan and place ham on top and brush with Maple Garlic Sauce (Don’t use all of this as you will be using 2 more times) Cover with aluminum foil.
  • Bake for 1 hour then remove foil and brush with some maple garlic sauce.
  • Bake for another hour then brush with remaining  maple garlic sauce and cook for 20 minutes.
  • Let ham rest for 20 minutes before carving.
