Ingredients
  

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 8 slices bacon, not thick cut
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Mae’s Seasonings Maple Garlic
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika

Instructions
 

  • Mix together brown sugar, Maple Garlic and smoked paprika. Rub this well onto the chicken breasts.
  • Then wrap each chicken breasts with 2 bacon strips; securing the bacon with toothpicks.

Grilling:

  • Preheat your grill to medium - high heat for indirect cooking and oil the grates. Place the chicken directly on the grill grates over indirect heat. Close lid and cook for about 20 minutes and flipping them every 5 minutes. Once cooked and no longer pink, transfer to the direct side and grill for about 2 minutes per side to crisp up the bacon.

Oven:

  • Preheat your oven to 375. Cook for about 25 minutes or until bacon is crispy and chicken is no longer pink. Baste the chicken occasionally with the pan drippings. For extra crispy bacon broil for 1 minute.
  • Let rest for 5 - 10 minutes before serving.
