Cajun Honey Butter Salmon

Salmon cooked in a cast iron with our Cajun Blackened Rub then finished off with a Cajun Honey Butter. Whether for a quick weeknight dinner or a gathering with friends, this recipe promises to delight, satisfy, and have everyone reaching for seconds.

Ingredients
  

Salmon:

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 2 tbsp Mae’s Seasonings Cajun Blackened
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Cajun Honey Butter:

  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp Mae’s Seasonings Cajun Blackened
  • 1/2 tsp granulated garlic

Instructions
 

  • Clean salmon and pat dry with paper towels. Mix together Cajun and oil. Brush over salmon and let sit for 20 minutes. Then in a small bowl, mix together ingredients for the Cajun honey butter.
  • Preheat your grill over medium - high heat. Once your grill is hot, place a cast iron skillet on grill and allow to heat for 2 minutes or until hot.
  • Add salmon and cook for about 6 - 8 minutes per side. Add in butter, and once melted spoon over salmon.
  • Remove from grill.
  • Let sit for 10 minutes before serving.
