Hickory Salmon

Salmon on the BBQ that is made with our Hickory Smoked BBQ Rub. Then finished off with some butter. Great summer meal.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Mae’s Seasonings Hickory Smoked BBQ
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions
 

  • Clean salmon and pat dry with paper towels. Mix together Smoked Hickory Rub and oil. Brush over salmon and let sit for 20 minutes.
  • Preheat your grill over medium - high heat. Once your grill is hot, place a cast iron skillet on grill and allow to heat for 2 minutes or until hot. Add salmon and cook for about 4 - 5 minutes. Flip and continue cooking for another 4 - 5 minutes. Add in butter, and once melted spoon over salmon.
  • Remove from grill. Salmon is done typically when it reaches 145 F.
  • Let sit for 5 - 10 minutes before serving.
