Smokehouse Burgers
Burgers made with Mae's Seasonings Smoked Hickory Rub. Pair with potato salad for a summer BBQ.

Burgers:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp granulated garlic
- 1 tsp granulated onion
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 - 2 tbsp Mae’s Seasonings Hickory Smoked bbq Rub
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 4 hamburger buns
Suggested Toppings:
- Bacon
- Lettuce
- Tomatoes
- Onions
- Pickles
Burger Sauce:
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/3 cup Mae’s Seasonings Honey Hickory BBQ Sauce
- 1/4 cup red hamburger relish
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp Mae’s Seasonings Hickory Smoked BBQ Rub
In a medium bowl, mix together all ingredients for the burger sauce and let sit in fridge.
In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, onion, paprika, egg yolk, and breadcrumbs. Form into 4 patties. Season patties with Hickory Rub on both sides.
Stove: In a cast iron skillet on medium - high, cook burgers for 3 - 5 minutes per side.
Grilling: Preheat your grill to medium - high and oil the grates. Cook burgers for 3 - 5 minutes per side.
Once burgers are cooked, place cheese on top and cook until melted. Let sit for 5 minutes before serving.
Spread burger sauce on both sides of hamburger buns and top with any suggested toppings.
