Tequila Lime Chicken
Chicken marinated in a Tequila Lime sauce. Then this is grilled on the BBQ or a indoor grill pan. This is also great on top of a green salad or serve with Spanish rice and corn for a complete Mexican Inspired meal.

- 3 boneless skinless chicken breasts (cut in half horizontally to make 6 fillets)
Marinade:
- 3 tbsp avocado or olive oil
- 3 tbsp tequila
- 2 tbsp honey
- Juice of 2 limes
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp Mae’s Seasonings Smoked Jalapeno
- 1 tsp sea salt
In a large shallow bowl, mix together olive oil, tequila, honey, lime juice, garlic, Smoked Jalapeno, and salt. Mix together well.
Toss chicken well with this and coat well. Let sit in fridge for at least 4 hours.
Preheat grill to medium - high and oil the grates. Cook for 3 - 5 minutes per side or until cooked and juices run clear.
Let rest for 5 - 10 minutes before serving.
You can also use an indoor grill pan.
