Beef Brisket
Brisket slow roasted in the oven and made with Mae's Seasonings Smoked Hickory.

- 4 - 6 pounds beef brisket
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp Mae’s Seasonings Smoked Hickory
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, salt, and Smoked Hickory and rub all over the meat. Let sit in fridge for at least 8 hours. Let sit out for 1 hour before cooking.
Preheat oven to 350 F. In a roasting pan mix together beef broth and Worcestershire. Place the meat, fat side up on a wire rack set over the roasting pan; cover with tinfoil.
Cook for 20 minutes. Reduce heat to 250 F and cook for 5 - 6 hours. Check every 2 hours to see if you need any more liquid in the pan.
Once tender, turn up to 400 F and take off the tinfoil. Bake for 10 - 15 minutes until browned. Let rest for 20 minutes before serving.
