Chicken Souvlaki

Ingredients
  

  • Tzatziki (see below)
  • boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into cubes
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp Mae’s Seasonings Greek Souvlaki
  • 8 - 10 wooden skewers
  • Pita bread

Instructions
 

  • Make Tzatziki day before if you can or at least the morning before you plan on cooking this.
  • In a medium bowl, combine together olive oil, white wine, lemon juice, garlic and Greek Souvlaki. Mix together well; then add in chicken cubes and toss together. Let marinate in fridge for at least 4 hours.
  • Soak skewers in water for at least 30 minutes. Then thread chicken onto skewers.
  • Preheat your grill to medium - high heat and brush grates with some oil. Once heated, place chicken on grill and cook until well browned, about 3 minutes per side.
  • Transfer chicken to a serving platter and let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Serve with pita bread and tzatziki.
