Honey Jalapeno Chicken Thighs

Chicken thighs marinated in a honey jalapeno sauce made with Mae's Seasonings Smoked Jalapeno. Then after baking its drizzled with more of the honey jalapeno sauce. Pair with rice and veggies for a complete meal.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 - 6 chicken thighs 

Marinade: 

  • 1/4 cup avocado or olive oil 
  • 3 tbsp honey 
  • Juice of 1 lime (2 tbsp)
  • 1 tbsp Mae’s Seasonings Smoked Jalapeno 
  • 4 - 6 garlic cloves, minced 

Instructions
 

  • In a small bowl, mix together all ingredients for the marinade. Reserve 2 tbsp; with the remaining marinade toss well with chicken and let marinate in the fridge for at least 4 hours.
  • Before cooking, let chicken sit out at room temperature for 30 minutes.
  • Preheat oven to 400 F. Once heated transfer chicken to a baking dish and bake for 35 - 40 minutes.
  • Let sit for 5 minutes before serving. Drizzle with reserved 2 tbsp marinade.
