Honey Lime Jalapeno Salmon

Salmon marinated in a honey lime jalapeno sauce made with Mae's Seasonings Smoked Jalapeno. This is great served with a Mexican Inspired Salad.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 salmon fillets 
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted 
  • 2 tbsp honey 
  • Juice of 1 lime (2 tbsp)
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced 
  • 2 tsp Mae’s Seasonings Smoked Jalapeno 

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 300 F. Clean salmon and pat dry with paper towels. In a small bowl, combine butter, honey, lime juice, garlic and Smoked Jalapeno. Reserve 2 tbsp for after cooking.
  • Place salmon in a baking dish and brush with butter lime sauce. Let sit for 20 minutes.
  • Bake for 10 - 15 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fish.
  • Remove from oven and drizzle with reserved sauce. Salmon is done typically when it reaches 145 F.
  • Let sit for 10 minutes before serving.
