Chili Lime Fish Tacos

Tender cod fillets marinated in a zesty Chili Lime, honey, and garlic mixture, pan-seared and served in tortillas with a creamy citrus slaw. A fresh, flavourful taco recipe made with Mae's Chili Lime seasoning — ready in 25 minutes.

Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 tbsp Mae’s Seasonings Chili Lime
- Juice and zest of 1 lime
- 4 - 6 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 pound cod fillets (should be 4)
- 10 - 12 (6 inch) Tortilla shells
CITRUS SLAW:
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- Juice of 1/2 lime
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup shredded green cabbage
- 1 cup shredded purple cabbage
- 1 carrot, julienne cut
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
Instructions:
- Stir together olive oil, Mae’s Chili Lime, lime juice and zest, garlic, and honey. Marinate fish in this for 20 minutes.
- Cook fish in a large frypan over medium - high heat for 3 - 5 minutes or until cooked and fish flakes easily with a fork. Cut up for tacos after citrus slaw is done.
- Citrus Slaw: Mix together mayo, mustard, honey apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, lime juice, and salt and set aside.
- In a large bowl, mix together cabbage, carrots, and green onions. Mix in dressing.
- Assemble: Place fish on tortillas and top with Citrus Slaw.
- Serve with a lime wedge.
