Chicken Schnitzel

Tender chicken breasts pounded thin, coated in seasoned panko breadcrumbs, and pan-fried in butter and olive oil until golden and crispy. Flavoured with Mae's Oma's Fried Chicken Seasoning and finished with a squeeze of lemon — on the table in 30 minutes.

Ingredients:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 2 tbsp Mae’s Seasonings Oma’s Fried Chicken, divided
- 2 tsp granulated garlic
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups panko breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Lemon wedges
Instructions:
- Pound out the chicken breasts until very thin but no so thin its going to tear. Trim off any fat and set aside.
- You will need 3 large shallow bowls that the chicken will fit into.
- For the first bowl, mix together flour, cornstarch, 1 tbsp Fried Chicken Seasoning, garlic, and salt.
- For the second bowl, beat the eggs.
- For the third bowl, mix together panko and 1 tbsp Fried Chicken Seasoning.
- Using a fork for each, place chicken into the flour mixture, then egg, and last in the panko.
- Fry the chicken in a frying pan with the butter and oil on medium - high until golden brown, about 3 minutes per side.
- Serve with lemon juice squeezed on them.
