Chicken Strips

Lemon-garlic marinated chicken strips coated in a parmesan panko crust seasoned with Mae's Garlic Lovers and Oma's Fried Chicken Seasoning — pan-seared then oven-finished. Served with a creamy homemade honey mustard dipping sauce.

Ingredients:
- 1 large egg
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Juice from 1 lemon
- 1 tbsp Mae’s Seasonings Garlic Lovers
- 1/2 tsp each: salt and pepper
- 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 tbsp Mae’s Seasonings Oma’s Fried Chicken
- 1 tsp granulated onion
- 1 tsp granulated garlic
- 1/3 cup shredded parmesan cheese
Honey Mustard Sauce:
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 3 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 3 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp granulated onion
Instructions:
- In a small bowl, mix together all ingredients for the honey mustard and let sit in fridge.
- Preheat oven to 400 F. Lightly grease a baking sheet with cooking spray and set aside.
- Cut chicken into strips. In a large bowl, whisk together egg, oil, lemon juice, Garlic Lovers, salt and pepper. Place chicken in this and toss well; let chicken sit in this for 15 minutes.
- Meanwhile in a large bowl, combine panko, Fried Chicken Seasoning, onion, garlic, and parmesan. Take chicken out of the egg mixture and dredge into breadcrumb mixture, lightly pressing to evenly coat.
- Place on baking sheet and lightly spray chicken with cooking oil spray. Bake for 10 minutes and flip and bake for 5 more minutes. Then broil for 2 minutes for a golden crust. Serve with honey mustard sauce.
