Garlic Alfredo Sauce
A very easy alfredo sauce recipe using Mae's Seasonings Garlic Lovers. This is great for a pasta sauce or a pizza sauce.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 tbsp Mae’s Seasonings Garlic Lovers
- 2 cups whipping cream
- 2 tsp granulated garlic
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese
Roux
- 1 tbsp flour
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add Garlic Lovers and cook for 1 minute or until garlic is fragrant. Add cream, granulated garlic, and pepper.
- Once heated through, add parmesan and let simmer over low heat about 10 minutes or until parmesan has melted.
- Mix together flour and oil together and add into sauce to thicken.
- You do not want it to be too thick because if you have leftovers it will thicken up. If this happens just whisk some milk into it.
