Orange Trout
Trout made with Mae's Seasonings Greek Souvlaki and oranges. Trout is an excellent source of Omega 3 fatty acids which is recommended for a healthy diet.
Ingredients
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tsp Mae’s Seasonings Greek Souvlaki
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 orange
- 1 whole trout, cleaned
- 2 tbsp butter
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 F.
- Combine oil, garlic, Greek Souvlaki, salt and zest of half of the orange. Then mix this inside the trout and spread thoroughly, saving some for the top.
- Slice the other half of the orange and place inside fish. Place on a foil lined baking sheet and dot with butter inside the trout and brush with remaining oil mixture.
- Bake for 10 - 15 minutes or until almost cooked. Turn on broiler and roast another 5 minutes or until cooked and fish flakes easily.

GREEK SOUVLAKI SEASONING
