This seasoning is a blend of spices that is composed of spices common in Italian inspired cooking. This all-purpose seasoning is a mix of spices and herbs and is a great way to add some flavour to your everyday meals.  This is an Italian Herb Seasoning with the addition of Smoked Paprika which adds incredible flavour to your dishes. This is a great addition to your pasta sauces, that goes great with lasagne, spaghetti, angel hair, penne, manicotti, cannelloni, rigatoni, ziti, and gnocchi. You can use the marinara in any pasta dish. These are just some of the popular ones to use Marinara sauce with. The Tuscan Herb and Garlic adds incredible flavour to your meatballs, soups, marinades, vinaigrettes, and pizza sauces. Also, a great addition to sautéed or roasted vegetables like a combination of red bell peppers, zucchini, carrots, onion, and garlic. A marinara sauce recipe card will be included.

ITALIAN SEASONING is a blend of herbs that commonly includes basil, oregano, rosemary, thyme, or marjoram, with other herbs and spices added to this blend.

The TUSCAN HERB AND GARLIC SEASONING also adds great flavour to Soffritto which is a mixture of minced mixed vegetables that includes onions, carrots, and celery that are slow cooked in either butter or olive oil. It may also contain garlic, leek, or shallots. In Italian Cuisine Soffritto is used as the base for most pasta sauces, soups, and stews It is also a great addition to sautéed vegetables.

TUSCAN HERB AND GARLIC can also be enjoyed by vegans or vegetarians by adding some to any Vegetarian Italian inspired dish. Just add some lentils, spinach, tofu, or tempeh for some protein source. Mae’s Seasonings is passionate about enhancing the flavour of your meals.

SMOKED PAPRIKA adds incredible flavour to your pasta dishes, and soups and stews.  It has a distinct smokiness, as it is dried by smoking, typically using oak wood. So, this is a great addition in our Tuscan Herb and Garlic Seasoning.

BASIL has a strong, and sweet aroma, basil adds a peppery and fresh taste in assorted recipes. Sprigs of fresh basil along with garlic are the perfect compliment to tomato-based recipes.

SUGGESTED USAGE:  For a pizza sauce, mix 1 can (6 oz) tomato paste, 1 can (14 oz) tomato sauce, and 2 tbsp MAES SEASONINGS TUSCAN HERB AND GARLIC
