Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins made with Mae's Seasonings Pumpkin Spice. You could also substitute our Gingerbread Spice for this as well. These are freezer friendly.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup canola oil
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 can (15 oz) can pure pumpkin
  • 3 cups all purpose flour
  • 6 tsp Mae’s Seasonings Pumpkin Spice or Gingerbread Spice
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 cups chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375 F. Spray muffins pans with nonstick cooking spray.
  • In a large bowl, combine eggs, both sugars, oil, butter and pumpkin until smooth; set aside.
  • In a medium bowl, stir together flour, Pumpkin Spice, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
  • Fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients just until moistened. Fold in chocolate chips.
  • Fill greased muffins tins 3/4 full.
  • Bake for 15 - 18 minutes or until toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow the muffins to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before removing to cool completely.
