
Spaghetti & Meatballs
The meatballs in this recipe are very tender. These are made with our Tuscan Herb and Garlic. For a complete meal serve with a Caesar salad or a Green salad.
Ingredients
- Marinara Sauce, see below
Meatballs:
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1 egg
- 6 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/3 cup shredded Romano cheese
- 3 slices white bread
- 2 tbsp water
- 2 tsp Mae’s Seasonings Tuscan Herb & Garlic
- 1/2 tsp each: salt and pepper
- Spaghetti Noodles
- Grated parmesan, for serving
Instructions
- Make Marinara sauce first. It can simmer while you make the meatballs.
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, egg, garlic, Romano cheese, bread (diced and tossed with 2 tbsp water and let sit for 5 minutes), Mae’s Tuscan Herb, salt and pepper and mix well. Form into 20 meatballs.
- In a large frypan over medium - high heat, heat some oil and cook meatballs about 2 - 4 minutes per side unitl browned.
- Add meatballs to sauce and bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
- Reduce heat and simmer, covered for 30 minutes.
- Serve over spaghetti with parmesan.
